Crafting
digital
experiences
that matter.
I'm a full-stack developer and creative technologist with a decade of experience turning complex problems into elegant, human-centered software. I believe great code is invisible — what people feel is the experience.

Where It All Began
I wrote my first line of code at thirteen — a janky HTML page with a blinking cursor and a MIDI background track. It was objectively terrible. I was completely hooked. That spark of creating something from nothing, of making a machine do exactly what you imagined, never left me.
Growing up in a small town with big internet access, I taught myself everything I could find: PHP forums, CSS tricks, JavaScript tutorials. By the time I reached university, I wasn't just studying computer science — I was already building real products for real people.
The Education That Shaped Me
At UC Berkeley, I studied Computer Science with a minor in Cognitive Science — a combination that fundamentally changed how I think about software. Code isn't just logic; it's communication between humans and machines, and between humans through machines.
My thesis explored adaptive UI systems that respond to user behavior patterns. That research planted the seed for everything I've built since: software that feels intuitive not because it's simple, but because it's deeply considered.
"The best interface is the one users never have to think about."
— My Design Philosophy
My Philosophy on Building Software
I've shipped products used by millions and side projects used by dozens. Both taught me the same lesson: the technology is never the hard part. Understanding what people actually need — and having the discipline to build only that — is where the real work lives.
I approach every project as a collaboration. I ask uncomfortable questions early, push back on assumptions, and advocate relentlessly for the end user. I write code that my future self — and my teammates — will thank me for. And I never stop learning, because the moment you think you've mastered this craft, the landscape shifts beneath your feet.
Curiosity First
Every great solution starts with asking better questions than everyone else.
Human-Centered
Technology serves people. I never lose sight of the human on the other side of the screen.
Relentless Craft
Details aren't details. They make the product. I sweat the small stuff so users don't have to.
The road
that led
me
here.
Every role, every project, every late night debugging session — they all added up to something. Here's the journey in full.
Senior Full-Stack Engineer & Freelance Consultant
Independent / Self-Employed
Leading end-to-end product development for startups and scale-ups across fintech, healthtech, and SaaS. Architecting systems that handle millions of requests daily while maintaining sub-100ms response times. Mentoring junior developers and establishing engineering culture from the ground up.
Lead Frontend Engineer
Veritas Labs — Series B Startup
Led a team of six engineers building a real-time data visualization platform used by Fortune 500 companies. Reduced initial load time by 68% through aggressive code splitting and edge caching strategies. Introduced design systems thinking that cut UI development time in half across the organization.
Full-Stack Developer
Meridian Digital Agency
Delivered 30+ client projects ranging from e-commerce platforms to custom CMS solutions. Became the go-to engineer for performance optimization and accessibility audits. Developed an internal component library that became the foundation for all future client work.
Junior Software Engineer
Apex Technologies
First professional role out of university. Worked on a legacy enterprise platform serving 200,000+ users, learning the hard lessons of maintaining production systems at scale. Championed a migration to modern tooling that reduced deployment time from hours to minutes.
B.S. Computer Science
University of California, Berkeley
Graduated with honors. Minor in Cognitive Science. Thesis on adaptive user interface systems. Co-founded the university's first UX research club. Interned at two Bay Area startups during summers, shipping features used by real customers before graduation.
